Electrician testing a commercial distribution board during remedial works

Electrical Remedial Works

Fast repair of EICR observations and electrical faults, with updated certification.

NICEIC approved

Certified to BS 7671

What’s included

Done once. Done right.

C1 and C2 remedials

Fault finding

Updated certificates

Reactive electrical repairs

An EICR is only useful once its observations are fixed. We carry out remedial works from your report, or ours, clear C1 and C2 items quickly and issue updated certificates so your records show the installation is safe.

Electrical remedial works that close out your EICR

An unsatisfactory EICR is a list of jobs, not a solution. Until the C1 and C2 observations are fixed and the report is updated, your building's electrical installation is officially unsafe to continue using. We carry out remedial works from our own reports or from reports produced by other contractors, and issue the certificates that put your records straight.

Our NICEIC approved engineers work on all makes of installation and fit Schneider Electric, Hager, Eaton and ABB components where boards and devices need replacing. Dangerous C1 items are made safe immediately; C2 and FI items are quoted, prioritised and completed on an agreed programme.

What remedial works include

Making C1 observations safe straight away

Repair of damaged accessories, cables and containment

Replacement of boards, devices and missing covers

Earthing and bonding upgrades

Further investigation of FI items

Updated EICR or Minor Works Certificates on completion

One contractor from report to sign-off

Because we test and repair, there is no gap between the report and the fix. The engineer who found the fault often carries out the remedial, which saves time and avoids re-investigation. Every item is recorded in Simpro, photographed and certified, so your updated report shows a satisfactory installation.

We carry out electrical remedial works in schools, offices, courts and public buildings across London, the South East, East Anglia and the Midlands.
