LED panel lighting in an office ceiling

Lighting and LED Upgrades

Lighting repairs and LED upgrades that cut energy use and improve light levels.

NICEIC approved

Certified to BS 7671

What’s included

Done once. Done right.

Lamp and fitting replacement

LED upgrade surveys

Lighting controls

Phased installs in occupied buildings

Old lighting costs money to run and to maintain. We repair and replace fittings, and design and install LED upgrades with presence and daylight controls, cutting energy use and maintenance visits while improving light levels for occupants.

Lighting repairs and LED upgrades that pay for themselves

Fluorescent and discharge lighting costs money twice: once in energy and again in the lamps, ballasts and maintenance visits it needs. An LED upgrade with presence and daylight controls typically cuts lighting energy by more than half, removes most lamp changes and improves light levels in classrooms, offices and corridors.

We repair existing lighting and design, supply and install LED replacements from Thorn, Zumtobel, Philips by Signify, Ansell, Kosnic, Whitecroft and Aurora, with controls from CP Electronics, Ex-Or and Zumtobel. Our NICEIC approved engineers install in occupied buildings, floor by floor or during holidays, and certify the work on completion.

What a lighting upgrade involves

Survey of existing fittings, circuits and light levels

Design and lux calculations for each space

Fitting selection matched to the ceiling and use

Presence, absence and daylight controls

Phased installation around occupants

Electrical certificates and disposal of old lamps

From a single fitting to a whole site

A failed fitting is a reactive call that our helpdesk handles quickly, often with an LED replacement that removes the fault for good. A whole-site upgrade is a project with a survey, a fixed quotation that shows the energy saving, and a programme that keeps the building working. Both are recorded in Simpro.

We carry out lighting works in schools, offices, courts and public buildings across London, the South East, East Anglia and the Midlands.
