Your legionella risk assessment sets out what has to be done. We carry it out: monthly temperature checks, flushing of little-used outlets, shower head descaling, TMV servicing and tank inspections, with the remedial works that keep your water system safe.
Legionella control carried out to your risk assessment
A legionella risk assessment tells you what must be done to keep your water system safe. Doing it, month after month, is the hard part. We carry out the monitoring and remedial tasks set out in your written scheme in line with HSE ACoP L8 and HSG274, and keep the records an auditor or your FM client will ask to see.
Our engineers test hot and cold water temperatures at sentinel outlets, flush little-used outlets, descale and disinfect shower heads, service thermostatic mixing valves from Rada, Reliance, Honeywell and Horne, inspect cold water storage tanks and carry out chlorination and tank cleaning when it is needed.

Records that stand up to scrutiny
Every reading, flush and service is logged in Simpro against the outlet or asset, so your logbook is complete and available when the auditor or client asks. Where monitoring shows a problem, such as a dead leg or a calorifier not reaching temperature, our mechanical engineers carry out the remedial works themselves, so you do not need a second contractor.
